Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex SPICE Model Library development and release projects in close collaboration with NXP modeling teams, Silicon Reliability and design enablement. In addition, the projects also involve significant interaction and alignment with semiconductor foundries (internal as well as external). In this role, you will drive execution from concept through model validation and release, ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, cost, and technical deliverables while operating in a fast-paced, software-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Lead multiple work packages across model development, validation, and library release Plan, monitor, and control project execution to ensure timely delivery of model releases, qualification targets, and key milestones Coordinate cross-functional teams including modeling, silicon reliability, design enablement, process technology, and external partners Drive execution of the project plan, facilitating decision-making and resolving technical and organizational challenges Ensure alignment between model development, validation results, and design requirements Identify and mitigate risks related to model accuracy, coverage, reliability, and release readiness Ensure clear, structured, and transparent reporting on progress, risks, and deviations Align stakeholders across functions and sites to ensure successful delivery and adoption of model libraries Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices, tools, and software development workflows Required Skills Strong technical understanding of semiconductor modeling and/or process technology Able to follow discussions on device modeling, simulation models, and validation, and translate them into structured execution plans Excellent communication and influencing skills Communicates complex technical topics clearly across engineering and non-engineering audiences Structured and pragmatic mindset Brings clarity and structure in fast-moving environments with evolving requirements Proactive and results-driven approach Anticipates risks, drives mitigation, and ensures strong follow-through to completion Strong stakeholder management Aligns cross-functional teams (modeling, reliability, design, process technology) and manages competing priorities Preferred Qualifications MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the semiconductor industry Experience in device modeling, SPICE model development, simulation, or design enablement environments Understanding of model validation, reliability modeling, or PDK/model library development Familiarity with software development lifecycles or release-driven environments is a strong plus Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional technical projects Strong leadership and communication skills Self-driven, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments More information about NXP in the Netherlands... #LI-f5d0 NXP Semiconductors N.V.
