  • 5+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry, ideally with facades or similar projects.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to liaise with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and ensure projects are financially on track.
  • Ability to lead a team, influence key stakeholders, and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities while working well under pressure.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic Facades division in Sydney CBD and manage the delivery of high-profile construction projects.
You will provide project management expertise across scoping, planning, execution, and leadership, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout each phase.
This role requires an enthusiastic and agile Project Manager who can drive projects to completion while managing a skilled team and building lasting client relationships. You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional outcomes that align with SRG Global’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the construction industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take charge of project management plans, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Oversee subcontractors and consultants, ensuring they meet contract requirements and deliver top-quality work.
  • Liaising with design managers, engineers, suppliers, and external consultants to ensure smooth and effective communication throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that every project is delivered on time and within budget by managing resources and coordinating subcontractors efficiently.
  • Collaborate with managers to estimate and control costs, reporting monthly on the project’s financial status.
  • Manage subcontractor progress claims, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and addressing any variations.
  • Uphold safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
  • Maintain high-quality standards, ensuring work meets or exceeds client expectations while maintaining consistent communication with the client throughout the project.
  • Oversee post-construction activities, ensuring timely delivery of final reports and manuals.
  • Review and advise on the design and construction of the project, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and timely delivery.
  • Attend site inspections, consult with key stakeholders, and maintain thorough documentation.
