JOB TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER

Location: Remote (CONUS/50 U.S.)
Travel Required: Remote work from anywhere in the 50 U.S. states
Salary is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate’s location, relevant experience, and qualifications

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

The Project Manager will oversee the successful execution of the VA SSG Fox SPGP Data Collection Tool Technical Assistance and Training contract. Serving as the primary point of contact for the client, this role ensures all deliverables are submitted on time, manages project risks, and maintains transparent communication with stakeholders while adhering to a firm-fixed-price budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and report on the Contractor Project Management Plan (CPMP)
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all security matters and ensure compliance with client security protocols and training
  • Lead weekly status meetings with the client COR
  • Manage a formal risk register and proactively mitigate project risks
  • Ensure 100% on-time, high-quality delivery of all contract deliverables
  • Oversee project budget and team performance

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, IT Management, or related field
Experience: 5+ years managing IT projects for the U.S. Federal Government

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience managing Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contracts
  • Proficiency in project scheduling, risk registers, and budget management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
    Preferred: PMP certification, prior VA project management experience, and background in data analytics/business intelligence contracts.
