The Project Manager, M&A Operations Strategic Initiatives oversees multiple projects that optimize business processes, increase operational efficiency, and align with the company’s long-term strategic goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in strategic M&A project management
  • Proven success in managing large teams and experience with complex projects
  • PMP certification strongly desired

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management

  • Partner with Business Development to facilitate the completion of a fulsome diligence process during deal formation and facilitate the hand-off from Business Development to launch the integration of new operations and/or JV partnerships into Lumexa Imaging
  • Define the integration strategy, priorities, and success criteria specific to each deal and ensure alignment amongst all stakeholders
  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of key M&A and operational projects, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, dependency maps, resource requirements, and risk management strategies (including post & pre-mortems).
  • Coordinate resources, manage project teams, and track progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental cooperation by fostering strong working relationships and managing dependencies across different teams.
  • Develop and manage an appropriate integration meeting cadence to include recurring calls with function leaders (individually and/or as a group)

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor project performance using appropriate metrics.
  • Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations for key stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalate potential issues or risks, providing mitigation and corrective strategies.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and project management practices.
  • Support the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance project outcomes.
  • Develop new workflows or systems that improve overall operational performance.

Risk & Change Management

  • Proactively identify project risks and dependencies and address.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption of new processes, tools, or changes resulting from strategic initiatives.
  • Effectively manage all stakeholders to ensure successful implementation & sustainability.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure all project-related documentation, such as charters, work plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations, is accurate, up to date, and easily accessible.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards, ensuring that all projects meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
