Description

The Ruhlin Company is seeking to hire a Project Manager for its Structural Division. This position is based out of Ruhlin’s corporate office in Sharon Center, Ohio (Medina County). This position reports to the Structural Division Manager. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with railroads (preferred but not required).
Position Summary: Plan, organize, and control all resources (staff, equipment, materials, subs) for the successful execution of a project. Lead project teams in the construction of projects ensuring project quality, schedule, cost control, safety and customer satisfaction objectives are met. Is the primary point of contact for owners.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in the construction industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, costing, scheduling, and estimating.
  • Previous experience directing craft labor in capacity of foreman and/or superintendent.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Ability to think ahead and plan over a one-to two-year time span.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Viewpoint Vista, HCSS Heavy Job, estimating software, scheduling software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong team player.
