Your main responsibilities
- Coordinate the activities of your designated area of responsibility throughout the life of a large-scale structural engineering projects.
- Update and communicate to stakeholders the progress of activities based on forecasts.
- Provide leadership in managing health, safety and environmental issues to ensure a zero-incident culture.
- Support the commitment and performance of external technical service providers.
- Collaborate with project planning and scheduling teams to develop and update the project schedule.
- Ensure stakeholders are respecting budget, fees and project progress.
- Coordinate the mobilization and performance of technical service providers and external suppliers.
- Write proposals, specifications and technical reports.
- Technical supervision, coordination, verification and design of various large-scale structural engineering projects.
- Provide assistant in regards to site supervision.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering mostly focusing on building engineering. A master’s degree will be considered as an asset.
- Must be a professionnal engineer under the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
- Must have at least 8 to 10 years of experience in design and between 3 to 5 years in project management.
- Must be fluent in French, both written and spoken. English is considered as an asset.
- Must be able to work with SAP2000, Etabs, S-Concrete. SP Slabs and Woodworks is considered as an asset.
