Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family We’re looking for driven Project Managers to join our civil business, a division of Fulton Hogan specialising in infrastructure construction, based around reinforced concrete. We are currently delivering work ranging from bridges and wharves to water treatment plants, storage tanks and pipelines. In this role, you’ll see yourself responsible for the bidding for and effective delivery of heavy civil/structures projects. This includes the planning, resourcing and coordination from end to end, whilst ensuring we achieve and exceed all targets, including safety standards, quality standards, budgets, programme and project objectives. In addition to the above you will: Develop and implement project methodology timelines, and budgets in collaboration with the team Oversee contract compliance, manage variations and claims and provide monthly financial reports. Lead the onsite construction team to deliver projects on time and within budget Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders Lead by example promoting and achieving zero harm goals Maintain a safe and tidy site, assisting in the development of management systems and ensuring compliance within your team Undertaking regular inspections to ensure that safety, environmental, and quality standards are achieved across the project. What we're looking for: Tertiary qualification in civil engineering (BE, NZCE, or Diploma) At least 10 years + post graduate experience in civil infrastructure, offering a depth of expertise in a range of civil construction project delivery Proven ability to lead and deliver medium-to-large scale civil infrastructure projects Strong commercial ability, including cost control and programming, you work within budget, and you have proven success with positive commercial outcomes Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams, heavy plant operations, and complex budgets with precision and accountability Strong track record of fostering a culture of safety, quality, and environmental excellence across all project phases.
