Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is currently working on the next generation support solution for its in-service torpedoes. A small team is being brought together to support in-place colleagues deliver that outcome.

The principal duties will include:

  • Manage all aspects of a Programme from start up to Strategic Outline Case.
  • Coordinate Project Specialist approval activities and set priorities to align with project targets.
  • Responsible for ensuring the project objectives for schedule, cost, risk and quality are met.
  • Manage interdependencies and benefits.
  • Responsible for the preparation and presentation of all approval artefacts in conjunction with specialist subject matter experts.
  • Instruct, direct, mentor, and check the work of other team members.
  • Define and promote formal communication methods and establishing open and consistent communication within the team, with the PMO and management.
  • Prepare and present Stakeholder updates as required.

The key deliverable will be a Strategic Outline Case that will set subsequent programme direction.
Location: Hybrid - 3 days in Bristol, occasional travel to Portsmouth
