ARA Security is part of the ARA Group, designing, installing and servicing innovative security and locksmith solutions across New Zealand and Australia, from intruder detection and CCTV through to specialist high-grade government security. They're looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of security project delivery end-to-end, scoping, financials, health & safety, subcontractor performance, and the client relationship. You'll deliver a varied pipeline of projects, from commercial installations through to specialist high-grade government security work. This is a full-time, permanent role based at the Mt Wellington office, covering projects across the wider Auckland region, and reporting to the National Projects Manager. What You'll Do Own project delivery from scope through to service handover - on time, on budget, and to a positive cashflow position Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including sourcing, allocation, performance and invoice approval Keep builders, contractors and clients informed on progress and delivery status Lead forward planning of labour, materials and plant, and estimate variations as they arise Prepare work method statements, risk assessments and site-specific safety plans, and drive continual H&S improvement Produce monthly reporting (labour, materials, variation registers) and keep project documentation current and complete Skills & Experience At least 5 years' project management experience, ideally within the security or a related technical industry Security industry experience is essential for this role Experience with ICT and security systems - Integriti (Inner Range), Gallagher, and CCTV platforms such as March Networks or Milestone - is highly regarded Strong contract management and commercial acumen (variations, invoicing, margin control) Excellent communication, collaborative leadership, and the judgement to make sound decisions under pressure Proficient across MS Office Experience delivering projects within the banking / financial security sector would be advantageous.
