EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Advanced education (e.g., bachelor’s degree).
  • 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active TS/SCI
  • Proven experience in developing Technical Direction Plans (TDP) and coordinating Project Kick-Off Meetings for complex technology or capability development projects.
  • Strong proficiency in project management, including resource planning, budgeting, progress monitoring, and stakeholder communication.
  • PMP Certification
  • Expertise in conducting studies/analysis, reports, risk assessments, and planning efforts to identify impacts and constraints across product development, production rates, and program initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to direct all phases of projects from inception through completion and coordinate commitments with internal and external stakeholders.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of project management industry best practices and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate integration of project plans, schedules, and change management processes across complex projects and programs.

  • Develop Technical Direction Plans (TDP) in response to customer-issued Technical Direction Letters (TDL), detailing execution plans, milestones, conditions, and risk mitigation strategies for technology or capability development projects.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and host Project Kick-Off Meetings, providing detailed minutes reports and action item tracking.
  • Plan, designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed regarding projects encompassing software deliverables, manufactured products, and contract-related services.
  • Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff on all TDL execution-related matters, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned TDL issues
