Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Surface team to lead complex upstream oil and gas projects from conception to completion. You will be accountable for timely delivery, budget control, and client satisfaction, ensuring all activities align with company values, QHSES standards, and contractual commitments.   This role can be based in either of the following locations; Scotland (Aberdeen (Altens site) or Dunfermline), Norway (Stavanger or Bergen), Netherlands (Nieuw Amsterdam)Job Description The project manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from conception to completion. This includes:   Overall management of the project, including budget, schedule, quality, safety, and compliance. The Project Manager must ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget, while meeting all quality and safety standards. Coordinating with the client and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements. The Project Manager must work with the client to ensure that they understand the project scope and requirements, and that the project is on track to meet those requirements. Serves as the project leader responsible for the safe and quality delivery of Engineering, Procurement, manufacturing, Commissioning and Start-up activities of the project, including the development of an Execution Plan and project schedule, the implementation of the business processes, resource management and coordination, cost management and forecasting. The Project Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the project plan, managing resources, and forecasting and controlling costs. Managing project change orders and scope changes. Any changes to the project scope or schedule must be managed and approved by the Project Manager. Managing project risks and developing mitigation plans. The Project Manager must identify and assess project risks and develop plans to mitigate those risks. Holds financial responsibility for the management and projections for Engineering activities/deliverables, Procurement activities (material, equipment, and subcontractors), and Start-Up activities (material, equipment, subcontractors, deliverables and cost performance) activities. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the project budget and ensuring that the project is completed within budget. Delivers effective communication to all internal and external customers (Project Team, Stakeholders, Partners, Vendors, etc.), including reporting regarding performance metrics and progress. The Project Manager must communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including the client, project team, and vendors. This includes providing regular updates on project progress and performance. Coordinates and leads Project review meetings. The Project Manager coordinates and leads regular project review meetings to ensure that the project is on track and to identify and address any potential problems. Plays a major role in the Business Development activities related to the customer. The Project Manager may also play a role in business development activities related to the client. This may involve developing and maintaining relationships with the client, and identifying and pursuing new opportunities. You are meant for this job if: Education: Strong technical background with excellent understanding of upstream oil & gas projects and design-to-manufacture processes. Experience: Several years in a similar role Skills: Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Project) Knowledge of manufacturing processes and project management tools Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Language: Professional English Required Technical Skills Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment Experience with project management tools and software Understanding of quality control and assurance procedures Familiarity with industry standards and regulations The ability to analyse complex problems and identify root causes The ability to develop and implement creative solutions The ability to make quick and sound decisions under pressure The ability to work effectively with others to solve problems Proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications (Excel, Project) Additional information All applications to be submitted in EnglishWhy join us?
