QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Qualifications in Engineering, Mining, Project Management, or related discipline.
  • Formal project management certification desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within mining, technology, or automation domains.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale fleet technology or automation deployments.
  • Familiarity with operational readiness and change enablement processes.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and timeframes effectively.
  • High-level communication and negotiation capabilities.
  • Technical acumen across fleet systems, autonomy, and mine operations.
  • Understanding of autonomous systems (AHS), FMS, and heavy mining equipment.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile).

Responsibilities
  • Lead the deployment of the Fortex (FZero) technology across designated sites, ensuring milestones are delivered on time, on budget, and to the required quality.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and scopes across the entire deployment lifecycle.
  • Drive operational readiness, coordinating with operations and site teams to ensure effective transition and adoption.
  • Manage change across technology, people, and processes with structured engagement and communication.
  • Engage with OEMs and technology vendors to manage installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Oversee risk, issue, and dependency management, proactively resolving barriers to progress.
  • Support training, communications, and stakeholder reporting to ensure alignment and smooth adoption.
  • Promote safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
