Position Overview The Project Manager will lead strategic and operational initiatives across the life sciences value chain, with a focus on planning, execution, governance, and cross functional alignment. This role is responsible for driving complex programs from concept through delivery, ensuring organizational readiness, business impact, and measurable ROI. The ideal candidate brings strong project and portfolio management capabilities, deep process expertise, and the ability to lead and develop high performing teams in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Portfolio & Program Leadership • Manage a portfolio of projects across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. • Develop and maintain long term roadmaps, including project prioritization, sequencing, and resource planning. • Establish governance frameworks and drive decision making with senior stakeholders. 2. Project Planning, Execution & Control • Build detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, budget, and resourcing. • Monitor project progress using structured methodologies, identifying and mitigating risks proactively. • Drive rigorous project execution, ensuring deliverables meet quality, compliance, and business requirements. • Track and report ROI, benefits realization, and performance metrics. 3. Financial & Resource Management • Manage project and portfolio budgets, forecasting, and cost controls. • Optimize resource allocation across PMs, BPAs, and cross functional teams. • Ensure financial discipline and visibility through structured reporting. 4. Process & Operational Excellence • Lead process re engineering initiatives using Six Sigma and internal audit frameworks. • Improve end to end Order to Cash (O2C) processes, including inventory management and supply/demand planning. • Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. 5. Change Management & Organizational Readiness • Lead change management activities including impact assessments, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement. • Facilitate workshops, training, and capability building activities. 6. Leadership & Team Development • Lead and develop a team of Project Managers and Business Process Analysts. • Provide coaching, mentoring, and direction to support career growth and performance. • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field. • Certified PMP (Project Management Professional). • Six Sigma Practitioner (Green Belt or Black Belt). • 7+ years of project/program management experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices. • Demonstrated experience in portfolio management, financial oversight, and strategic program delivery. • Strong knowledge of E2E Order to Cash processes (inventory, supply chain, demand/supply planning) or similar. • Experience in regulated environments (GxP, GMP, or similar). • Exposure to ERP transformations (e.g., SAP, WorkDay) or digital/analytics initiatives. • Strong facilitation, workshop design, and training delivery capabilities.
