We’re looking for a Project Manager to join us, working on an interesting portfolio of work in Christchurch and Canterbury. Our local team have a strong track record of delivery across regional projects and programmes of work including education, fit-out, health, industrial and government. As a PM, you’ll get your hands on a great range of project opportunities and the chance to work with multiple teams. You’ll be encouraged to lead, and supported in that leadership as you make project decisions. You’ll build trust with all stakeholders and everyone in the project team. Guide a project from go to whoa, from the initial project set up to contract administration, final delivery, and everything else in between. Keep a firm grip on cost control alongside the project quantity surveyor – you’ll be right on top of financial reporting, estimates, cash flow and invoicing on a project. Manage project deliverables and reporting back to client. You’ll lead and chair meetings, minuting actions so nothing gets left undone. · Here’s what we need from you: A professional and can-do attitude to helping support our clients and the TBIG project team. Ability to create enthusiasm within the project environment. Getting buy in and always building trust. A range of experience across different project types and phases in the NZ market, ideally including exposure to design management, consenting strategies, consultant and contractor procurement, construction and contract management. An affinity for working collaboratively and collectively with project teams, working towards the same goals and reminding people of those goals when the project gets challenging. Great communication skills and the desire to represent our brand professionally Strong administrative skills that lend themselves to an organised and efficient project manager. Your experience needs to include: Minimum four years' post grad consultancy experience, construction PM or similar. Relevant qualifications such as Building Science, Architecture, Construction PM, Engineering or Property. You’ll bring a growing range of project experience with you, which should include vertical projects such as commercial, health, education or fitout projects, and could also include civil infrastructure project delivery.
