This Position reports to:
Service Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In our EMEA ELSE Discovery Trainee Program, you will develop a skills necessary to kickstart a career in Service division in ABB. As a trainee you will be a part of community, and you will participate in activities with other trainees like taking parts in trainings to enhance soft & technical skills, meeting project deadlines, and engaging in diverse social and team-building activities to expand your network within ABB. Throughout the program you will also receive support from Program Lead.
The work model for the role is: #hybrid
This role is contributing to the Electrification, Service division in Spain. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support ABB’s businesses, collaborate with different leaders and teams, and contribute to the company’s strategic objectives.
Each day, you will gain knowledge by performing tasks as directed by your leader. You will also aspire to achieve your career goals by participating in professional development.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Assisting, sales, tendering and project managers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors.
  • Delivering projects to a budget on time.
  • Assisting with claims, customer specifications and safety standards.
  • Creating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.
  • Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites.
  • Liaising with factories over delivery, design and technical resolution.

Qualifications for the role

  • Recent completed bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related field.
  • Understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A growth mindset focused on continual learning and improvement.
  • Strong organization skills with an ability to plan well and follow through to project completion
