Job Summary: The company is looking to recruit an ambitious and energetic Project Manager, who will help Candi to lead the revolution of solar. Given that Candi is taking solar into a new realm with a new set of tools, the role will require creativity, innovation and a new way of thinking.

Specifically, the job requires taking ownership of the following for the Capital Structuring team:

  • Transaction Process Management: Overseeing all stages of the capital raising process, including planning, tracking tasks & timelines, and coordinating with internal team members to ensure these processes are efficiently run.
  • Investor Relations Coordination: Organising investor calls, scheduling meetings, coordinating due diligence trips, and serving as one of the main points of contact with investors.
  • Due Diligence Management: Managing due diligence processes, including overseeing different due diligence vendor streams and handling due diligence Q&As by working with internal team members.
  • Transaction Execution: Managing transaction execution processes, including coordinating with various stakeholders, managing the flow of information in the negotiation of transaction documents and assisting with the closing of conditions precedent.
  • Post-Transaction Reporting: Developing reporting templates and ensure the on-going reporting requirements are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Process Optimisation: Identifying and addressing potential issues throughout the capital raising, due diligence & reporting processes, and implementing solutions to ensure a seamless workflow.

Location: Johannesburg / Cape Town / Durban, combined with working from home
Hours: Full time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in project management or transaction management.
  • Prior exposure to transactions, investor relations, or similar processes is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex information and coordinate across teams effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in managing investor communications and coordinating responses across teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Asana or other) and Microsoft Office Suite.
