Arcadis is seeking a talented Project Manager, Civil and Utilities Engineering for our dynamic Toronto West office. We are looking for a team lead with a background in utilities, road and transit projects in Ontario. Experience in some or all of Environmental Assessments, preliminary and detailed design, transportation planning, traffic management, and traffic engineering would be an asset.
This role will entail the utilization of skills in leadership, business development and client interaction. As a Project Manager you will be asked to assist in growing and maintaining the business. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
You will be the Project Manager on civil, utilities, transportation-infrastructure projects such as Class Environmental Assessments, TPAP, preliminary designs, intersection, or corridor improvement studies. This role will support infrastructure Engineering task lead for large-scale projects, be responsible for review of preliminary and detailed design drawings, reviewing and supporting report-writing (e.g. Environmental Study Report, engineering studies), and proposal writing. You will also manage staff productivity and utilization, mentor staff and project teams, and supervise staff and participate directly in the completion of projects. You will foster a spirit of enthusiasm and client focus, lead and direct business development activities in the GTHA. You will be responsible for project coordination between other design disciplines, management of project schedule and budget, client liaison, and participation in the management of the Infrastructure Group in Toronto West Office.
