Description
The Project Manager provides project management and operational support across the Associate Dean’s Office, the Associate Chief Medical Officer portfolio, and the Physician Services Department, helping to coordinate initiatives that align academic affairs, clinical operations, and physician enterprise priorities. In partnership with the Associate Dean’s Office, the role supports academic strategy and faculty affairs initiatives by assisting in the development, tracking, and execution of project plans aligned with institutional goals. In collaboration with the Associate Chief Medical Officer team, the Project Manager contributes to clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory readiness, and performance improvement efforts by coordinating projects, tracking milestones, and supporting accountability through established project management tools and processes. Within Physician Services, the role assists with coordination of physician contracting processes, medical directorship documentation, and maintenance of contract tracking systems to support consistency and transparency. Serving as a cross-functional project coordinator, the Project Manager supports complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives by organizing meetings, preparing materials, tracking deliverables, and developing reports and dashboards to monitor progress and support decision-making.   Department Overview UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals are consistently ranked among the nation's best children's hospitals by U.S. News & World Report.
