The Power Quality (PQ) division at Eaton Electrical provides power management solutions including uninterruptable power supplies (UPS’s), surge protective devices, power distribution units (PDU’s), remote monitoring, software, power factor correction, airflow management, rack enclosures and services. We strive for continued success in leveraging technical innovation to develop next-generation solutions. We are looking for a Project Manager based in Sydney to ensure the successful delivery and execution of UPS customer projects within Data Center. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills who can work with a variety of stakeholders in the testing, commissioning and implementation of UPS system. Key Duties: Review project proposals and plan to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects. Allocate resources and confer with project, service, operations, engineering, sales & finance staff to outline project schedule and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope. Establish and manage the project plan, milestones, and deliverables in consultation with all stakeholders. Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel and liaise with customers to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget including supply chain, warehouse, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field service. Provide project sales and margin forecast / estimation, manage the project budget and expenses (T&E, timesheet, product, purchase orders). Prepare project status reports for management & customer’s and project related month end reporting for finance. Identify and assess risk factors utilizing risk measurement tools and identify and implement suitable mitigation strategies. Support bidding team for any large project tender by evaluating the cost allowance. Ensure all the activities of the project team comply with ethical standards. Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in project management delivery preferably in the electrical industry and focusing on Data Center. Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline. Sound technical knowledge of project systems, tools (SAP), and methodologies. Familiarly with Aconex, Procore Construction Management software would be an advantage. Problem solving and attention to detail is paramount. Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel, MS Project, Visio, and SharePoint.
