Description
Bachelor's University Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. 5+ years of Project Management experience and 8+ years of Transportation Engineering experience. Roadway preliminary or detailed design experience. P.Eng. (Eligible for Membership with PEO) preferred. Experience with Metrolinx, MTO, Region of Peel, York Region, and Halton Region is an asset. Experience with preliminary and detailed design of municipal infrastructure, arterial roads, highways, and freeways (alignments, geometrics, staging, traffic management, roadside safety). Familiarity with Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and Bentley products (MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads) is an asset. Understanding of traffic engineering principles. Familiarity with GTHA market conditions and public/private sector client base in and around the GTHA. Familiar with construction inspection and preparation of reports. Ability to work independently and in groups, with proven ability to manage projects, project teams, and clients. Excellent technical verbal and written communication skills. Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a strong desire to succeed. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a commitment to excellence and high-quality work. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
