You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including:   Overseeing the planning, organisation, management and construction of substations Managing budgets and project timelines, whilst ensuring quality control and cost management Collaborating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders, including resolution of conflicts, or disputes throughout the project lifecycle. Ensuring compliance to Client technical standards and specifications, codes of practice, and state, local and industry regulations. Preparing and delivering progress reports, risk analyses, and post-project evaluations. Handling multiple projects simultaneously   Typically, the nature of this position is with projects taking place in regional areas or NSW with the potential to support other states occationally.   What we’re looking for: Demonstrated project management experience with a background in construction, ideally within transmission networks (e.g., Transgrid, Powerlink, AusNet, Electranet, TasNetworks, Western Power), renewable energy developers Experience with DNSPs (e.g., Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, Energy Australia) is also valued Strong organisational, communication, and conflict resolution skills Experience in contract management and the ability to simplify technical information Technical understanding of HV substation (up to 500kV) projects, and ability to planning delivery and budgets Knowledge of the Australian electricity market, relevant regulations and exposure to enterprise agreements   About Ventia Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
