We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure improvement projects that make a lasting impact on communities across Sydney In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full project lifecycle from planning and execution through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and environmental standards. Develop, implement, and monitor detailed construction programs using Oracle Primavera P6. Establish and execute effective construction staging plans and methodologies. Prepare, review, and manage project budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting. Identify, prepare, and submit contractual claims such as variations and extensions of time (EOTs). Assess resource requirements, identify skills gaps, and implement training to enhance team capability. Lead and participate in regular meetings with clients, project teams, and subcontractors. Coordinate multiple subcontractors, including those engaged directly by clients or third parties. Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and proactive risk management throughout all project phases. Build and mentor a high-performing, motivated team aligned with Ventia’s purpose and strategic objectives. About You Significant experience within the construction industry, ideally in road and transport infrastructure. Proven success delivering projects under TfNSW contracts and specifications. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client liaison and negotiation. Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management or related discipline. General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
