The Opportunity   Veolia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Hunter Water Alliance team, providing project management services and engineering support across multiple locations within the Hunter Water Alliance area. This is an exciting opportunity to lead capital works projects while collaborating with Alliance team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.What's on offer   Lead diverse capital works projects across 19 WWTPs and 6 WTPs Work with cutting edge water and wastewater treatment technologies Opportunity to develop technical solutions and optimise operations Attractive Compensation Package with Great Benefits Supportive, Collaborative, and Inclusive Alliance Team Culture Contribute to Safe, Sustainable Water Infrastructure Solutions What you'll be responsible for   Coordinate projects including programming and Project Management Plans (PMPs) Manage contractors and track project spend while preparing CAPEX projections Write Project Development Plans (PDPs) and provide Business Case input Coordinate tender preparation, design schemes, and detailed cost estimates Determine, acquire and allocate resources to ensure project outcomes Ensure site WHS requirements and safe working practices for all capital works Utilise Permit to Work systems and prepare Job Safety Analysis worksheets Understand HWC contract objectives and help optimise management of water treatment facilities Identify potential system improvements and technical solutions Maintain effective working relationships with Alliance team members and external parties Comply with Veolia's Integrated Management System requirements What you'll need to be successful   Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field Extensive experience in project management of diversified project portfolios Proven track record in leading and delivering successful projects Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Why Veolia?   At Veolia, we're on a mission to build a more sustainable future through ecological transformation.
