What you’ll do
The Project Manager will be accountable for the delivery of post contract award and internal service delivery projects, including a highly complex range of equipment, system installations and satellite/communications network implementations.
The day-to-day
In this role, you will liaise with various teams to ensure seamless services. You will also act as a Service Manager to oversee and ensure the highest level of service quality and customer satisfaction for our government clients, including the development & management of customized services, ensuring services exceed client expectations and Problem Management.
- Ensure your assigned customized requests are delivered on time, scope and budget
- Nurture effective relationships and liaise with Service Management, Capture and Sales teams, ensuring service delivery activities are captured
- Clear, simple and effective reporting of relevant updates to upper management
- Confident in conflict resolution, identifying solutions and opportunities to reduce risk, and managing expectations of customers and stakeholders
- Lead the statements of work and quality of the subcontractor deliverables ensuring contract alignment
- Report on and ensure all KPIs and SLA commitments are met
- Ensure production of the required delivery documentation as outlined in contracts
- Develop streamlined processes/improvements and document work instructions
WHAT WILL HELP YOU ON THE JOB
- Active Program/Project Management qualification with knowledge of project methods (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, Six Sigma) and Agile delivery approaches (e.g., Scrum SAFe, DSDM).
- Solid understanding of budgeting, cost management, and financial planning to ensure alignment of financial goals
- Understanding of service management principles, frameworks (such as ITIL), and best practices.
- Active GVF Examiner certification
- Experience with IP Networks, Cisco and Juniper Core Networks, Wi-Fi and Cloud Networks and Network Management Systems
- Experience working in network virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience working with WAN and LAN across MPLS infrastructure, OSS and BSS teams
