The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government’s multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. Our diverse projects span the health, mental health and aged care portfolios across metropolitan, regional and rural settings and ambulance branches across Victoria. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. Our priority is to provide innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions that will ensure our health system meets the needs of all Victorians now and into the future.
Responsibilities:
The Project Manager plays a key role in supporting the design and delivery of over $1.5 billion in sustaining and enhancing capital programs.
You support a range of key programs such as; the Regional Health Infrastructure Fund, the Metropolitan Health Infrastructure Fund, Mental Health, Age Care and Equipment Replacement programs.
This role requires strong relationship building and collaboration skills, you will establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate delivery of critical infrastructure initiatives in partnership with others.
You will have the ability to manage complexity, apply analytical skills to a variety of information and data, scope opportunities and issues, and synthesise complex information into legible, tangible products to improve the safety and quality of services, service capacity, models of care, patient and staff amenity and service efficiency of Victoria’s health asset portfolio.
