Description Project Manager (Warehouse Manager) – DLA Distribution Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution Position: Full-Time / On-Site - 450 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Robins AFB, GA 31098 JOIN OUR TEAM! Caladwich Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Project Manager (Warehouse Manager) to support Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution warehouse and distribution operations at a DLA Distribution Center. The Project Manager serves as the Contractor's primary on-site leader responsible for managing personnel, warehouse operations, customer support, contract performance, and mission execution while ensuring compliance with DLA operational, safety, quality, and audit requirements. This position offers the opportunity to directly support one of the Department of Defense's most critical logistics missions by leading warehouse operations responsible for receiving, storing, inventorying, packaging, and distributing military supplies worldwide. Success in this role directly contributes to warfighter readiness through safe, efficient, accurate, and audit-ready distribution operations. Core responsibilities · Serve as the Contractor's primary point of contact with the Government and possess full authority to act on all matters relating to contract performance. · Lead daily warehouse and distribution center operations supporting receiving, storage, inventory management, issue processing, packaging, transportation, and shipping activities. · Direct supervisors, leads, and warehouse personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. · Plan, organize, allocate, and manage personnel, equipment, facilities, and operational resources. · Ensure contract performance meets all Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements and Acceptable Performance Levels (APLs). · Monitor workload trends and adjust staffing, shifts, and resources to meet changing operational requirements. · Oversee execution of warehouse operations utilizing the DLA Warehouse Management System (WMS). · Ensure inventory accuracy and audit readiness throughout receiving, storage, inventory, and issue processes. · Ensure compliance with DLA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Control Plans, internal controls, and audit requirements. · Lead corrective action efforts to resolve operational deficiencies and improve overall performance. · Coordinate with Government representatives, customers, and supporting organizations to resolve operational issues. · Manage contract resources, schedules, reporting requirements, and project milestones. · Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, security, and safety requirements. · Lead emergency response, surge operations, contingency operations, and continuity of operations activities as required. · Promote continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction throughout warehouse operations. Operational Support · Warehouse storage and stock positioning. · Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS). · Inventory planning, execution, discrepancy resolution, and research. · Stock selection, issue processing, and shipment preparation. · Packaging, preservation, packing, and marking operations. · Transportation coordination and freight management. · Local delivery and customer support services. · Physical inventory execution. · Property accountability. · Warehouse Management System (WMS) administration and compliance. Requirements Required Qualifications · Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field. o Equivalent combination of education and ten (10) years of Government or private-sector experience may be substituted. · Minimum three (3) years of management experience leading warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations. · Demonstrated experience managing personnel, budgets, projects, contracts, and operational resources. · Experience operating within a large warehouse or distribution center environment. · Experience utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP-WMS, or equivalent automated logistics systems · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Other Requirements: · Must be a US Citizen · Must be able to pass background investigations including a FBI fingerprint check and a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) adjudication.
