These partnerships are collaborative and typically involve bringing together teams of technical and delivery experts to develop assets across all phases of their lifecycle. We are particularly seeking intermediate-level Project Manager who have a background or interest in the water industry. This role will be Canberra based. Thee role requires excellent communication and co-ordination skills to collaborate with our clients and their stakeholders, be a key member of our talented multi-disciplinary engineers during project planning and development phases and to assist our clients in managing construction. Working within delivery frameworks underpinned by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), the role will also require knowledge and skills in scope, time, cost, quality, procurement, risk and resource management. You will be surrounded and supported by industry experts to develop and integrate these skills, and many of our team members express how rewarding it is to see the projects that they have stewarded be constructed and operating. About you To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will be qualified with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, commerce or related professional field, and ideally have or wish to pursue chartership with Engineers Australia or a similar professional organisation. Other desirable and relevant knowledge areas include: Understanding of project management principles and a desire to progress professionally in this field. Exceptional communication skills with an ability to build relationships both externally and internally. Contract management, commercial acumen, Business case development, Partnership management, portfolio management, Operations experience, A demonstrated technical knowledge of design and engineering principles within the water industry. A positive and tenacious attitude with an ability makes things happen and alignment with our company purpose to “Make Everyday Better”. Prior experience working for or with water utilities or in the context of local government is also highly regarded.
