About the Role
We are looking for experienced Project Managers with a strong background in the UK water industry. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of engineering and construction projects across clean water, wastewater, and associated infrastructure.
The role requires hands-on leadership of projects from concept through to completion, ensuring safety, compliance, cost control, and client satisfaction at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of water sector projects, including treatment works, pumping stations, pipelines, and related infrastructure.
  • Oversee project planning, resourcing, procurement, and financial control to meet agreed programme and budget targets.
  • Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners to ensure effective delivery.
  • Ensure projects comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, in line with water industry regulations.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Monitor risks, progress, and performance, providing accurate and timely reports to stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement within project execution.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrable project management experience within the UK water industry (clean water and/or wastewater).
  • Strong understanding of water sector standards, regulations, and client frameworks.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience working under NEC or other water sector contract frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction management, or project management (e.g. APM, PRINCE2).
  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel between sites as required.
