ABOUT THE ROLE:

BMD are seeking a Project Manager with water/wastewater proven project delivery experience based in SA. SA Water and LGA project experience favourable, specific to;

  • Water Trunk Main (DN300 - DN1500) - Highly Regarded
  • Waste Water Trunk Main (DN300 - DN900)
  • Waste Water Treatment Plants

The basic objective of the Project Manager is to have knowledge of the day to day issues that affect the progress of works and make experienced decisions that will maximise the project’s success in terms of profitability, efficiency, contract period and human relations.
The project manager is responsible for managing and directing the team’s outputs to ensure the project is delivered in a safe and successful manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively deliver programming, staging and construction methodologies
  • Achieve compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standards
  • Manage team outputs across profitability, efficiency and human relations
  • Lead monthly assessments and forecasts of project’s financial performance
  • Build effective relationships with repeat clients and consultants
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
