Our Water group has secured multiple long term framework contracts with key water authority clients across Australia and locally in Victoria. We are now seeking a Project Manager to join our growing Victorian team.
In this role, you will ensure that water projects are delivered to client expectations, timeframes and specifications, whilst contributing to the financial success of Stantec’s business. You will also manage project change, finances, schedule, quality, health, safety and risk, whilst driving diverse teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, or related discipline
  • Up to 5 years experience as a Project Manager or an Engineer aspiring to become a Project Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and design managers to plan, coordinate, and execute key projects according to the Stantec Corporate Project Management Framework (PMF).
  • Develop detailed project plans, monitor timelines, budgets (tracking and forecast), and deliverables.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports on project progress and outcomes.
  • Prepare and monitor project safety plans to ensure Stantec’s SaferTogether culture is upheld and documented.
  • Drive process improvements and streamline workflows to optimise project outcomes.
  • Identify and alleviate project risks to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Conduct project meetings with stakeholders to set expectations and discuss results.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and internal delivery teams.
