JOB DESCRIPTION JOB SUMMARY:  The position will focus on delivering projects in the area of distribution and water and wastewater systems for the Capital Improvement Program. Project Manager (PM) responsibilities include overseeing the design process and ensuring that standard program protocols and procedures are followed, resolving delivery issues, and reviewing work progress and progress payments. The position requires excellent technical skills combined with an acumen for project management, consulting and client service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Managing contractors performing various wastewater and distribution systems projects including tracking schedule, budget, performance, utilization and submittals as well as holding status meetings * Provide input and recommendations to overcome Contractor problems encountered in the field * Coordinate with construction managers, community outreach, engineering, and contractors as needed * Client management, effectively communicating with clients to develop collaborative solutions * Discuss project results and recommendations with clients to facilitate informed decision-making * Writing, reviewing, and providing clear, concise input to investigation, regulatory, or solutions reports * Managing deliverables to scope, schedule, and budget * Attend regularly scheduled progress meetings * Coordinate with Construction Manager during the construction phase
