Job Title: Project Manager – NPI Division: Weir Minerals / Group Technology Location: Artarmon, NSW, Australia Work Type: On-site Purpose of Role This role leads the successful delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects that bring Weir innovations from concept approval through industrialization and launch. As a Project Manager, you will own delivery outcomes and ensure scope, schedule, cost, quality, and launch commitments are clearly defined, actively managed, and achieved. You will coordinate cross-functional teams within Weir’s NPI and PMO governance frameworks. You will play a visible role at the center of product development by solving problems, removing barriers, and turning plans into results. Key Responsibilities: NPI Project Delivery: Plan and deliver complex medium‑to‑large NPI projects using established NPI and PMO frameworks, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, schedule, cost, quality, and launch criteria. Maintain integrated project plans, budgets, and risk registers, actively managing dependencies, issues, and delivery momentum across the project lifecycle. Cross‑Functional Leadership & Execution: Lead cross‑functional project teams through influence, coordinating activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and other stakeholders. Provide clear priorities, facilitate decision‑making, and maintain alignment in complex, matrixed environments. Governance, Reporting & Transition Management: Own project‑level governance, communication, and reporting. Support effective phase‑gate decision‑making through clear data, risk visibility, and delivery insight, ensuring smooth transition from development through industrialization and launch in line with the NPI process. PMO & Capability Contribution: Apply PMO standards, tools, and templates consistently, contributing lessons learned and improvement ideas to strengthen NPI delivery practices. Support continuous improvement across the project portfolio through disciplined execution and knowledge sharing. Job Knowledge, Education and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mining, or a related technical discipline preferred; business or project management degrees considered where supported by demonstrated technical project delivery experience. 5–8 years of progressive project or program management experience. Demonstrated experience delivering NPI, product development, or industrialization projects within structured governance or phase‑gate frameworks. Proven ability to drive delivery outcomes in complex, cross‑functional environments with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
