PROJECT MANAGER

Woodbyrne Cabinetry is a custom architectural woodwork manufacturer based in St. Louis, MO, serving the St. Louis metro area and southeast region. We build high end plastic laminate and wood veneer casework for a wide variety of commercial clients.
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for a junior project manager position. The ideal candidate has experience with AutoCAD and an interest in commercial interior construction - previous woodwork experience is a plus but not required. We are looking for someone who wants to grow into this position and learn the skills needed to succeed in a specialized industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
  • Prepare drawing and material submittals for architect approval
  • Monitor and update project schedule to meet client needs
  • Communicate with general contractors, designers, and architects to achieve client design and schedule goals
  • Gather field dimensions
  • Generate material take off and order project-specific materials
  • Collaborate with estimators, drafters, engineers and shop foreman to complete projects on time and on budget

Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting architectural drawings
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
