WSP is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee a significant infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the project, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure and airport development.

Your new role, what’s involved?

  • Project Leadership: Assume full responsibility for the management and successful execution of the infrastructure project, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
  • Client Engagement: Foster strong client relationships by effectively communicating project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of professionals, including engineers, architects, and support staff, to achieve project objectives.
  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, and oversee their implementation.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies for mitigation, ensuring project delivery within established parameters.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project work aligns with WSP’s quality and safety standards, as well as client expectations.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and make cost-effective decisions to maximize project value.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations, agreements, and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Health and Safety: Prioritize safety throughout the project lifecycle, implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, and project records.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • More than 15 years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, with a specific focus on airport development.
  • Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in project leadership and successful project delivery within established timelines and budgets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional client-facing abilities with a demonstrated track record of client satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
