POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in civil and water/wastewater construction. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of project delivery—from preconstruction through closeout—ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in civil infrastructure and/or water/wastewater construction.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale self-perform and subcontractor-driven projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, MS Project, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality control.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of civil and water/wastewater projects.
  • Manage project budgets, contracts, change orders, and cost controls.
  • Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Oversee project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Mentor and support project engineers, assistant project managers, and field staff.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Foster strong client relationships to support repeat business opportunities.
