About the Project

Company is embarking on a large capital expansion at its manufacturing facility — This transformative initiative will add a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to expanding filling and freeze dryer capacity for large molecule vaccines and biologic products.

Position Overview

The Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead the design, installation, and startup of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in the Drug Product Facility for this groundbreaking capital project. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the most significant investments in animal health manufacturing infrastructure in the U.S., working alongside top-tier engineering, construction, and operational teams.

What You’ll Do
· Lead High-Impact Capital Projects: Take ownership of planning, directing, and executing all phases of MEP design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup for the new Drug Product Manufacturing Facility.
· Drive Project Excellence: Develop and implement innovative project execution strategies, leveraging Lean Project Delivery methodologies and modular construction techniques to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of critical assets.
· Collaborate Across Teams: Lead a multidisciplinary project team including internal stakeholders, external contractors, architects/engineers, and equipment suppliers to achieve seamless project integration.
· Communicate with Influence: Maintain clear, proactive communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and financials to ensure alignment and transparency.
· Ensure Compliance & Quality: Uphold Company’s quality, safety, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the facility meets all pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements.

· Champion Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Apply best practices and emerging technologies to optimize project outcomes and support Companies mission to advance animal health globally.

What We’re Looking For
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or related engineering discipline. Equivalent experience or other engineering degrees considered.
· Experience: Minimum 10 years of project management experience leading complex capital projects, with a strong focus on MEP systems in pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
· Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems design, installation, and startup, preferably within drug product manufacturing facilities.
· Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.

· Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Proven ability to navigate complex challenges, manage change, and drive project success under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Lean Project Delivery methodologies such as target value design and pull planning.
· Familiarity with modular design and construction.
· PMP or equivalent project management certification.
· Background in Animal Health or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
· Knowledge of USDA and cGMP regulatory requirements.

Pay: $78.00 - $80.00 per hour
