Description

Pennoni is looking for a Project Municipal Engineer to contribute to our Municipal projects on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Columbia, MD.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required; working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with MS Project, Microstation, Revit, ArcGIS, WaterGEMS, and/or SewerGEMS is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer Certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • NASSCO certifications.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams to support infrastructure / utility projects, especially with wet utilities.
  • Experience working on design and permitting activities.
  • Proficiency on all standard Microsoft Office software applications (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision while displaying a positive attitude.
  • Strong leadership skills; project management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills, especially with a proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
    TARGET SALARY RANGE: $80K - $100K (per year)

Responsibilities
  • Experience in water and wastewater infrastructure planning, design, permitting, inspection and construction administration including pump stations, distribution, collection and conveyance, storage tanks, and treatment.
  • Experience coordinating water and wastewater infrastructure design with other design disciplines (e.g. traffic, geotechnical, environmental, mechanical/electrical, and survey) also preferred.
  • Project management experience a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Be a self-motivated individual, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong ability to plan and manage preparation of construction drawings and specifications.
