About the Role
The Project Support Officer plays a vital role in supporting the effective delivery of Cardinal Projects within the Next Gen CAD Project by providing administrative, coordination, and reporting support to the Project Team. This role ensures that project governance, documentation, scheduling, and communication processes are executed efficiently to enable smooth project execution and delivery.
The Project Officer will follow guidance from the NGC Cardinal Project Manager and work within TZV’s Project Management Framework.
The role may also include provision of coordination services across the wider Next Gen CAD Program, requiring collaboration with multiple stakeholders to enable successful project delivery for TZV.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and maintenance of key project artefacts in accordance with the TZV Project Management Framework, including the development of detailed Project Management Plans, project controls, schedule, budget, monthly status reports and milestone reports
  • Organise project related meetings and workshops, including preparation of agenda, meeting materials and minutes
  • Support the Senior Project Manager, and other project partners, including the PMO leads, and analysts from the projects Strategic Deliver Partner (SDP).
  • Coordinate internal resources (e.g IT, procurement, legal) to external resources (e.g vendor, consultants) to work collaboratively across the organisation to delivery specific work packages to meet overall project or program objectives

About You
The successful candidate will have a Diploma/Tertiary qualification in Project Management and/or Management qualification (PRINCE2, PMBOK or equivalent) or currently completing.

In addition, we are seeking the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in contributing to the delivery of complex projects, including an understanding of project life cycle and methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prepare accurate and detailed documentation, reports and correspondence
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with a confident and discreet manner in order to appropriately manage sensitive information
  • Customer focused and exceptionally skilled at developing and maintaining positive relationships
