We are looking for a Project Officer to carry out routine experiments in a cell biology laboratory, and be responsible for administrative and logistical upkeep pertaining to laboratory operations including procurements, overseeing health and safety management, and general lab organization. Key Responsibilities: Support the general organization and operation of the lab Handle procurements and oversee health and safety management matters Work alongside PhD students and postdocs on research projects Conduct experiments independently and analyze experimental data at a high standard Give regular research updates in the form of internal group meetings Job Requirements: BSc in Biology or related fields Prior lab experience in Mammalian Cell Biology (culturing of cells, transfection, etc.), Biochemistry (SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting), immunohistochemistry (sectioning and staining), fluorescence light microscopy (immunofluorescence, confocal microscopy, etc.) Team-work attitude Excellent Organizational skills Resourceful and a self-starter The College of Science seeks a diverse and inclusive workforce and is committed to equality of opportunity.
