The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Project Officer. Established in 2022, CCEB is a dynamic, interdisciplinary school at NTU, offering world-class education and research opportunities across chemistry, chemical engineering, and biotechnology. We strive to nurture future-ready graduates and foster cutting-edge research addressing global challenges in healthcare, energy, food, and sustainability.
The Project Officer will take on a significant role in supporting research activities focused on nanomaterial synthesis, characterization, and catalytic performance evaluation within electro/photo/nanocatalysis projects. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty and research teams to advance our scientific objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct literature reviews and propose experimental plans.
  • Synthesize and characterize nanomaterials using advanced techniques.
  • Perform catalytic performance studies under electrochemical and photocatalytic conditions.
  • Analyze and disseminate research findings through reports and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Support laboratory operations, including maintenance of instruments, procurement of consumables, and training of students.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in photo-, plasmonic-, and/or electro-catalysis research.
  • Proficient in nanotechnology, nanochemistry, and associated analytical/characterization techniques.
  • Strong research publication record and data analysis skills using scientific software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
