Project Officer     Location – Parramatta Employment type – Ongoing Salary – GR 7/8 $ 113,574- $ 125,720 per annum plus superannuation     Your role   Homes NSW leads work to deliver more social and affordable housing, end the cycle of homelessness, and deliver quality public housing to our 262,000 tenants across NSW.    As a single division, we are streamlining services to ensure we meet the needs of the people we support, with empathy, efficiency and effectiveness. We are elevating the voice of people with lived experience of social housing, housing services and homelessness.    Within the Housing Portfolio, the Project Officer performs project management and supports activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives. Enjoy a meaningful role which makes a real impact.   What you’ll do   Using your well-developed project and stakeholder management skills you will enjoy a varied role which will include but not limited to:   Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and monitoring to ensure project outcomes are achieved Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes. Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion. Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables. Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing documentation, to support informed decision-making and planning.   What we’re looking for   Relevant qualifications and/ or a combination of qualifications and relevant experience in a comparable role Experience in a project role and environment managing/ supporting multiple projects and demands Strong stakeholder engagement experience and fine-tuned communication skills Excellent coordination and multi-tasking without compromising attention to detail Proactive with the ability to identify key priorities and move them forward Experience in the Government sector and an understanding of public housing maintenance would be well regarded   Download the role description.     To apply directly via the DCJ Careers site click here.
