Job Summary: The Project Officer will support the Engineering and Design team in planning, coordinating, and executing technical projects across food and beverage production facilities. This role involves assisting with the design, installation, and improvement of processing lines, packaging systems, utilities, and infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency, food safety, and compliance. The Project Officer will work closely with engineering, maintenance, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure project objectives are met. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and execution of engineering and design projects within F&B manufacturing facilities. Coordinate technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and layouts for equipment and plant upgrades. Support procurement and installation of machinery, process lines, utilities, and building services. Monitor project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and vendor performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, QA, EHS, and Maintenance. Assist with risk assessments, commissioning, and validation of equipment and systems. Ensure project activities align with food safety, hygiene, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, OSHA). Maintain and organize project records including contracts, permits, and technical documentation. Support in conducting site surveys, inspections, and audits during project phases. Track project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders. Qualifications Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Architect or a related technical field. 2+ years of experience in project coordination or engineering support, preferably in food and beverage manufacturing. Experience with plant layout design, utility systems, or process equipment is highly desirable. Skills: Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management fundamentals. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and MS Office. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
