The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), part of the College of Science, was established in 2002 with a mission to advance biological and biomedical sciences. We are seeking a Project Officer to support the smooth daily operations of the laboratory, with a focus on administrative and organisational tasks. The role also involves engagement with the SBS community. We welcome applicants with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication and coordination within the lab and across SBS.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Provide logistical and operational support for day-to-day activities.
• Assist with lab-related and SBS administrative tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Life Science, Biology, or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role or in positions involving administrative and organisational responsibilities.
• Familiarity with record-keeping and documentation processes.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
