Project Officer Grade: 7/8 Salary range: $116,981-$129,492 + superannuation and leave loading Duration: temporary full time role for up to 7 months Location: Hybrid with an in-office requirement 2 days a week in Sydney, McKell. This may be subject to change in line with DCS workplace policies Help shape the future of connectivity across NSW through stakeholder engagement, analysis and strategy development. Support the delivery of a high-profile strategy refresh by facilitating engagement, synthesising insights and contributing to the development of a refreshed all-of-government connectivity strategy. About the team This role sits within the Connectivity Strategy team in NSW Telco Authority. The team forms part of the Strategy, Policy and Governance division and is leading the refresh of NSW’s approach to connectivity. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact program, working with stakeholders across government, industry and emergency services to inform future connectivity priorities and outcomes. Your responsibilities will include Coordinating, facilitating and supporting external stakeholder engagement activities Gathering, analysing and synthesising evidence to turn consultation findings into actionable insights Contributing to strategy development, briefing materials and executive communications Supporting project management, governance and delivery of agreed milestones Coordinating workshops, meetings and consultation activities with a range of stakeholders Undertaking research and analysis to support informed decision-making and planning Supporting parliamentary and ministerial activities Preparing and maintaining project documentation, reports and briefing materials For more information on the role and its accountabilities, click here to view the role description. To be successful in this role you will have Experience in a strategy, policy, research or project support role Experience conducting desktop research and synthesising large volumes of information into meaningful insights Experience working collaboratively within a team to deliver shared outcomes Strong facilitation and presentation skills, including confidence engaging stakeholders in person Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills Nice to have Experience working in a consulting environment Degree qualifications in commerce, business, public policy or a related discipline Experience facilitating workshops and leading stakeholder discussions About NSW Telco Authority NSW Telco Authority (NSWTA) operates and manages the Public Safety Network to deliver radio communications for frontline responders. We work with emergency services and telecommunications carriers to protect communications assets during emergencies and natural disasters.
