THE ROLE
The NSW Government’s Pre-Sale Finance Guarantee program is a bold new initiative designed to unlock housing supply by helping developers overcome financing barriers and progress viable residential projects. As part of a newly established team within the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, we have a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact program that’s accelerating housing delivery across the state.
As the Project Officer, you’ll be a key part of the team delivering projects under the Pre-sale Finance Guarantee Program. You’ll help keep things running smoothly by coordinating resources, preparing reports, managing stakeholder communications, and maintaining clear, accurate project documentation. It’s a hands-on role where your work directly supports a program tackling housing supply challenges across NSW.
You’ll be managing competing priorities, working independently, and helping the team stay on track—especially when deadlines are tight. Strong communication skills, a knack for organisation, and a proactive approach will go a long way. You’ll also lend support with governance processes, training coordination, and tech systems that help the team stay productive and connected.
