THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking an experienced administrator or project officer to step into the Project Officer role for an estimated contract period of up to August 2026.
This role plays a vital role in supporting the overall administration of the Holiday Parks section, including providing executive assistant support to the Holiday Parks Section Manager through diary management, business papers, reporting, and management of data kept in corporate systems.

Alongside the administrative functions of this role, you will also provide project and administration support to the broader Holiday Parks leadership team.

  • This is a contract opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week for a period of up to August 2026.
  • Base Salary Range: $69,600 to $81,716 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,464 retention allowance
  • You will be working from Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary

Responsibilities

  • An understanding of Port Stephens Council, the Beachside Holiday Parks, and the local visitor economy
  • Demonstrated experience using Authority, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven experience in an administrative role supporting senior positions within a medium to large organisation
