We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the in the School of Science & Technology: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Planning, implementing and monitoring the activities in all phases of the project; Maintaining project timelines, work plans and milestones and ensuring project activities are delivered on schedule; Serving as a key liaison among students, academic departments, secondary schools and external practitioners; Organizing and coordinating the logistics for project activities, including student recruitment, training workshops, field visits, seminars and annual forum; Creating and maintaining social media account; Assisting in preparing project reports, presentations, evaluation forms and other required documentation; and Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School of Science and Technology or his / her nominee(s). Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A bachelor’s degree or above, preferably a higher degree in Applied Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Biotechnology or a related discipline; Relevant experience in project coordination, programme administration, student affairs or event management, preferably in a higher education or NGO setting; Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, academic staff and external partners; Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and competing deadlines; A strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; and A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably proficiency in Putonghua. Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
