About the Role Subsidence Advisory NSW supports communities affected by coal mine subsidence, including managing compensation for property damage and regulating development to protect homes and infrastructure. Subsidence Advisory NSW are currently seeking a Project Officer to join the Strategy and Policy team. This role plays a key part in setting strategic direction. The role is varied and has a focus on ensuring accurate, timely and factual information is prepared. Your Responsibilities Will Include - Managing projects and support activities in line with established objectives. - Ensuring deadlines and priorities are met, whilst coordinating, analysing and reviewing correspondence and briefings. - Contributing to the review and/or drafting of a range of policy and procedure documents. - - Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships both internally and externally. About You To be successful in this role, you must be able to: - Maintain strong attention to detail with analytical, problem-solving skills, and enjoy a team environment - Have experience in analysing complex information and interpreting legislation and policies. - Have high-level oral and written communication skills and experience in drafting ministerial correspondence, briefings and papers. - An ability to negotiate positive outcomes with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
