Responsibilities

The AI Factory (L-AIF) is a national flagship initiative that aims to foster a robust and inclusive AI ecosystem in Luxembourg by bridging education, research, industry, and society. It focuses on building AI skills, promoting trustworthy AI, and accelerating innovation through targeted training, micro-credentials, public engagement, and industry collaboration. Within this initiative, the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) at the University of Luxembourg plays a leading role in developing AI training programmes, coordinating talent development activities, and supporting outreach and communication efforts. As the leader of the Work Package on Talent Development, FSTM is responsible for designing sector-specific courses, managing the creation of micro-credentials, and organising events such as hackathons and seminars, in close collaboration with academic and industry partners.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of AI Factory (L-AIF) activities across academic, institutional, and industry partners, ensuring timely delivery of objectives, risk management, and progress monitoring
  • Manage and support the development and deployment of AI training programmes and micro-credential pathways in coordination with educational and industry experts
  • Analyse and interpret data related to training needs, participant feedback, and skills trends to inform continuous programme improvement
  • Collaborate with partners to co-develop real-world AI learning activities, secondment opportunities, and applied projects
  • Maintain active communication with internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting meetings, events, and public engagement initiatives
  • Monitor emerging trends in AI and lifelong learning to contribute to strategic planning and future-oriented recommendations
  • Produce and coordinate project documentation, including scientific outputs, deliverables, and reporting materials
  • Support dissemination and outreach efforts, contributing to the visibility and impact of the AI Factory project
