We are now recruiting suitable candidate for O ▪ PARK1, the food waste treatment facility being built for the Environmental Protection Department of Hong Kong Special Administration Region in the Lantau Island. Job Description To oversee and supervise public relation matters at O ▪ PARK1 including the operation of the visitor centre; To assist in handling general enquiry and complaint received by Client relating to O ▪ PARK1; To assist Client in liaising with stakeholders to promote Waste-Derived Material WDM (e.g. food waste-derived compost) and support district education and programmes on WDM utilization initiatives; To assist in managing separate WDM utilization studies conducted by Client (e.g. contractor performance, payment and claims, regular surveillance and reporting, etc.); To assist in handling other adhoc office administration and other duties as assigned by Client. Qualifications Bachelor degree or Master degree in Marketing or a relevant marketing subject from a Hong Kong university or equivalent; Have good knowledge in organic compost and good understanding of local organic compost market; Possesses at least 3 years of working experience in sales and marketing of organic compost; experience in application of organic compost to government projects will be an advantage; Working experience in public relation of waste facilities is considered a significant asset ; Proficient in Adobe Illustrator software; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Input Method; Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Cantonese. Proficient in Putonghua will be an advantage.
